Our lifestyle fate was the lowest one. We ignored it.

A 78% match with their weakest score in the exact area that was supposed to matter most long-term. They're still together.

Of the six fates, Priya and Daniel's Lifestyle score was easily their weakest — barely passing, in an app that generally tells people Lifestyle mismatches predict friction over shared routines. Chemistry and Soul were both strong. Lifestyle was not.

"We almost didn't get past it," Priya admits. "I read the description of what a low Lifestyle score usually means — different paces, different social needs — and thought, well, that's us exactly." Daniel is a night-shift nurse who needs total quiet to unwind. Priya works a standard schedule and recharges by having people around.

Two years in, it's still their actual friction point — they've just stopped treating it as a verdict. They keep separate wind-down routines instead of forcing a shared one, and treat overlapping free time as a bonus rather than an expectation. "The score wasn't wrong," Daniel says. "It just described a problem, not an ending. We had to actually solve it ourselves — the app never promised it would."

It's the one story we keep telling, because a low score isn't the whole story either.
